About GoodsTag

GoodsTag is an enterprise SaaS provider assisting brands, manufacturers and retailers. GoodsTag’s IoT-solutions for global Product Relationship Management open up a new world for physical goods and products. Its platform for Smart Product Services offers enterprises an effective integration of digital product services all along the life cycle ofany physical good.Digital product services are based on an unambiguous relationship between the physical good and its digital twin. They lead to more effective supply chains, can protect from counterfeits, enable the direct interaction with end consumers, and foster sustainability through controllable product cycles and recycling processes.GoodsTag’s Product Relationship Management is the foundation to build upon. Its API-based end-to-end solution mirrors the whole product life cycle, provides the validated data to other enterprise systems, and relies on open standards like the GS1 Digital Link. The first step to take is the serialization. That’s when the GoodsTag platform creates the digital twin of a physical good. Those digital twins are unambiguously connected to their physical product by integrated serial numbers, functional labels or intelligent packaging. The product life cycle can now be tracked via smartphones, apps or dedicated readers. Any time the product is read out or tapped, valid, actionable data points are created. Those data points are contextualized and can trigger activities in other systems, be it inventory updates in ecommerce systems or service interactions with consumers - while all the time maintaining the highest privacy standards: GoodsTag’s platform is GDPR-compliant by design.
