About Gopher Resource
Gopher Resource has been a national environmental solutions provider for 75 years, protecting the earth and preserving natural resources. Our purpose is the safe and efficient recycling of lead batteries throughout North America, using sustainable practices and advanced technology. We sort, process and recycle spent auto, industrial and stationery batteries. Each year, our company keeps over 26 million spent batteries out of landfills. Collectively, we are committed to environmental sustainability, safety, customer excellence, employee opportunity and community stewardship. Gopher Resource is at the forefront of innovation and continuous improvement in our field. Being innovative means being on a continual quest to analyze, improve and evolve. Leadership and excellence throughout operations has always been our focus, and we have made huge investments to achieve this. We’re setting new standards for our industry and ourselves. Gopher resource has recycling facilities in Eagan, MN, and Tampa, FL. The Eagan location also operates The Recycling Zone, a community recycling center for Dakota County, MN.
