About Gordon Foundation for Sick and Injured Children (GoForKids)

GoForKids is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to supporting children recovering from serious injury or illness through storytelling, emotional resources, and community care. Founded by a survivor of a life-threatening ski accident and coma, GoForKids aims to ensure that no child heals alone. We share stories of resilience, build peer-based support networks, and create uplifting content and initiatives to bring hope into the recovery journey. Our goal is to make recovery more visible, human, and empowering — one story, one child, and one act of care at a time.
