GOWRKGRLS is an independent writing studio founded by Porsha Thomas, a senior brand and culture writer with 17 years across consumer brands, SaaS platforms, and research institutions. The work spans editorial features, integrated campaign copy, brand voice development, and long-form narrative — for clients including Daily Harvest, Vanderbilt University, and GoDaddy. GOWRKGRLS began in 2014 as Ladypreneur League, a platform celebrating women founders. It's since evolved into a focused writing practice: doing the work brands need to communicate with clarity, and doing it in a voice that actually sounds like them.
