Grameen University received formal approval from the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2025. It was founded by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus, with the bold vision of catalyzing social transformation through higher education and contributing to the creation of a new civilization grounded in equity and sustainability.
