GTOC has provided full service medical, surgical, and optical eye care to northern Michigan since 1946. Dr. John Beall established the practice in an office above the Petertyl Drug Store in downtown Traverse City. GTOC was for many years the only practice in northern lower Michigan providing specialty care by an ophthalmologist. Retired ophthalmologists include Drs. Jack Weih, William Cartwright and Kenneth Musson. Currently, we have eight ophthalmologists on staff and six optometrists. GTOC is committed to providing high quality eye care to patients of all ages through a multi-specialty team approach. We will treat each patient with respect, dignity, kindness and compassion, and strive to continuously understand their needs and exceed their expectations of quality eye care.
