About Grandparents for Vaccines

Grandparents for Vaccines is a national nonprofit organization that mobilizes grandparents and other adults to help protect children from vaccine-preventable diseases. Across the United States, more than 60 million grandparents care deeply about the health and future of their grandchildren. Many of us remember when diseases such as polio, measles, meningitis, and whooping cough were common threats to children. Vaccines and vaccination availability changed that reality. Grandparents bring a unique voice to conversations about vaccines. Our generation saw firsthand what these diseases could do, and we understand the extraordinary difference vaccines have made. By sharing our experiences and supporting respectful conversations within families and communities, we help ensure that the next generation grows up protected from preventable illness. Grandparents for Vaccines works to strengthen public understanding of vaccines through storytelling, community engagement, and partnerships with health professionals and public health leaders. Our members and volunteers speak with neighbors, families, and community organizations to help keep children safe and healthy. We believe every child deserves the strongest possible start in life, free from diseases that vaccines can prevent. Learn more: https://grandparentsforvaccines.org/about-us/
