A 2¼-person team. No venture capital. No exit strategy. Yet the tools we build have crossed 10 million downloads across the winkJS ecosystem, trusted by thousands of projects worldwide. We are Graype Systems, an independent decision science studio behind two open-source products: winkNLP, a high-performance natural language processing library for JavaScript, and winkComposer, a composable streaming intelligence platform built for the factory floor, not the enterprise budget. Our conviction is simple: rigorous tools — engineered precisely, tested thoroughly, secured seriously — should be freely available. No paywall. No enterprise tier. winkNLP ranks #3 globally among JavaScript packages for OpenSSF security adherence. That conviction has earned recognition we did not seek: the NASSCOM AI Game Changer Award (2024), the NASSCOM Makers of India Honor (2026), and a maintainer story published by the Open Source Initiative (2025).
