About Greater Baybrook Alliance

The Greater Baybrook Alliance (GBA) is a community development corporation serving Baltimore's Baybrook peninsula, which comprises Brooklyn and Curtis Bay in Baltimore City and Brooklyn Park in Anne Arundel County. GBA acts as a catalyst and conduit for equitable development and reinvestment and empowers residents to strengthen the Baybrook community. GBA reinvests in community assets, increases access to resources and amenities, and strengthens collective efficacy through partnerships and resident leadership development. Since 2018, we have secured over $16MM to implement a range of neighborhood revitalization projects and programs. Our organizational objectives include advancing affordable housing developments, stewarding community-driven beautification projects; providing small business support through technical assistance and retail improvement grants; and leading our federally-funded Baybrook Violence Reduction Plan (BVRP) which includes Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) and youth leadership development programs.
