About Greater Houston Soaring Association

The Greater Houston Soaring Association (GHSA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to educating the public and its members about aviation, meteorology, the physics of flight, and the sport of soaring. Over the past 20 years, GHSA has helped hundreds of people obtain their private pilot, commercial pilot, and instructor glider rating. Our pilots have given countless introductory glider rides. GHSA is a chapter of the Soaring Society of America.
