At Greater Newark Holiday Fund, we help provide essential services to families and individuals in need across New Jersey by collaborating with 11 social service agencies who offer food, shelter, mental health support, and much more to those who need it most. We’ve been helping the people of Greater Newark since 1937. With your support, we can continue to build stronger communities. How Your Donation Makes A Difference — 🍲 178,671 pounds of food provided to 29,779 households, helping fight hunger in our communities. 🛏️ 73,734 nights of shelter for 1,171 homeless individuals and families, offering safety and stability. 🫂 99,153 mental health services provided to 3,250 people, ensuring access to counseling and recovery programs. 🍼 350,000 diapers distributed to low-income families, supporting parents in caring for their children. 🪖 165 veterans served through housing and employment programs, giving them the support they deserve.
