About Green Energy Justice Cooperative
The Green Energy Justice Cooperative (GEJC) is a member-owned cooperative founded by Blacks in Green that seeks to provide clean, affordable energy to primarily low-income communities throughout Illinois. We are developing 9 MW of solar in DuPage and Will Counties under the IPA’s Community-Driven Community Solar initiative. While solar subscriptions are currently limited to residents of DuPage and Will Counties, membership is open to anyone who would like to support the community-driven clean energy revolution!
