About Green Lab Associates

Grown due to demand in UK universities, Green Lab Associates was created in order to assist institutions improve the efficiency and sustainability of their research laboratories through audit-based assessments and consulting. Laboratories consume many times more energy per square meter than academic spaces in universities. However, they are rarely assessed due to their specialised nature. Whether in a newly opened or listed building, there are always incredible opportunities to improve how laboratories operate and reduce associated costs. Assessments and audits not only highlight significant energy and financial savings opportunities, but also aim to improve the science and research itself.
