About Green Rural Economy

The Green Rural Economy initiative connects change-makers with solution providers to foster sustainable livelihoods in rural areas. Our platform empowers individuals and organisations working with communities to discover and implement proven solutions tailored to their unique challenges. We aim to create a comprehensive 'services interface' that aggregates resources, trainers, and service providers from trusted partners. A local grassroots non-profit could seek out experts in soil health to train their community's farmers on the benefits of composting. A local entrepreneur could discover solutions on branding & packaging their goods to augment their product's brand recall and sales. A social entrepreneur could discover partners to solve their community's waste management challenges and co-create a new solution. The Green Rural Economy is a consortium-led initiative that seeks to facilitate collaboration among organisations, allowing them to leverage each other's expertise to solve multi-dimensional problems.
