Back in 2007, GreenPan developed the first ceramic nonstick coating, Thermolon™ – a material that originates from sand. Eight generations later, GreenPan continues its focus on prioritizing the public, the environment, and the advancement of the industry. GreenPan products are made free of plastic synthetics, PFAS, PFOA, lead, and cadmium. As opposed to conventional nonstick coatings, Thermolon™ can endure templates up to 850°F/450°C with no threat of toxic fumes, has a curing process that creates 60% fewer CO2 emissions, and is a more ideal heat conductor.
