About Grijalva Cattle Co

We launched our cattle company in 2021 in the middle of the pandemic. We wanted to do something with purpose and something that filled a very basic need. We had operated a small farm for several years, and in the fall of 2020, with full clarity of what we needed to do, we purchased a historic hundred-acre farm in eastern Connecticut and began the process of building out a beef operation raising Texas Longhorn cattle. Known for their resilience, gentle nature, and tender and flavorful heart-healthy meat, we have fallen in love with this true American original. Our lives have changed beyond our wildest expectations, and we move into the future feeling more connected, fulfilled, and purposeful.
