About Group of Underwater and Speleological Exploration - GESS

As a volunteer at GESS (= Grupul de Explorari Subacvatice si Speologice / Group for Underwater and Speleological Exploration) I am involved in projects that mainly take place either underwater or underground (in caves). These projects are usually focused on environment protection and conservation. They have a strong social/educational trend, since we try to increase the public awareness and to get the broad public familiarised both with our country’s natural values and with the most actual issues regarding the environment.
