About Group23 Sports Medicine

To become Calgary’s premier sports medicine clinic, we’ve assembled an elite team of professionals to form our new clinic, allowing us to offer our patients more services, leading-edge equipment and the highest quality of care possible. Choosing Group23, an unparalleled offering in sports medicine, is the choice to Rise Above. Everything from our name to our logo implies strength, precision, confidence and expertise. Group23’s name makes reference to the 23 pairs of chromosomes that make up each human being—the building blocks of our physiology that join together to forge something greater than the sum of its parts. Similarly, our practice is made up of impressive individuals that form a remarkable group who are able to provide collaborative care. The new logo embodies this collective effort, with the icon portion symbolizing links of a chain. As a sports medicine clinic, our mission is not only to help our patients return to their peak performance, but also to help them overcome their injury and become the best athlete that they can be. By putting each and every client on a pedestal, both figuratively and literally, we can help them rise above the physical limitations of injury and continue their pursuit of athletic excellence. Our patients take pride in their health and how their bodies perform, so we take pride in getting them back to the top of their game. Whether they are a professional hockey player or a recreational golfer or someone who just wants to stay active in their retirement, all of our clients get access to the same elite level of care and are equally important to us. Group23 is made up of a talented group of doctors, therapists and administrative professionals that have a breadth of experience and a collaborative approach to patient care. We are always open to learning new things and striving to hone our craft, all while keeping our patients’ best interests at heart. Together, we inspire, we create relationships and, most importantly, we heal.
