About Grove Community Housing Association

When Grove Housing Association was established in 1977 people were leaving this area of North Belfast due to the poor housing and environmental conditions. Since then the Association has worked successfully to improve these conditions through renovating old dwellings and building new homes. Grove is registered with the Department for Social Development (Registration No. R14) has charitable status and is a Registered Society under the Cooperative & Community Benefit Societies Act (NI) 1969 (Registration No. IP000173). The overall control and governance of the work of the Association is provided by the Board of Management. Members of the Board of Management serve in a voluntary capacity and they bring a range of skills and experience to the Association. Along with staff at the York Road office, they share a common commitment to improving housing conditions and related services for all Grove residents in the community
