About GS Caltex
GS Caltex Corporation is a South Korean downstream energy and petrochemical company jointly owned by GS Group and Chevron, founded in 1967 as Koreas first private oil company. The company operates one of the worlds largest refinery complexes in Yeosu, with a daily production capacity of 800,000 barrels, and supplies approximately one-third of South Koreas oil needs. GS Caltex markets petroleum products through over 2,500 branded service stations and exports refined and petrochemical products to more than 57 countries.
