The company is Chinas largest pharmaceutical enterprise and largest producer of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and ranked on the Fortune Global 500 as the first company to enter with TCM as its core business. It holds a publicly listed subsidiary, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Holdings, on the Hong Kong and Shanghai stock exchanges.
