About Guardians of Flushing Bay

Guardians of Flushing Bay envisions a healthy, environmentally just, and equitably accessible Flushing Bay and Creek (together, Flushing Waterways) where our watershed communities feel part of a thriving collective who steward the water, its coastal lands and, in turn, each other. A coalition of human-powered boaters, park users, and local residents, we accomplish our goals through family-friendly waterfront programming, community science and stewardship, and grassroots organizing.
