About Guernsey Electricity

Guernsey Electricity is the sole provider of electricity in the island of Guernsey. Over 90% of our electricity demand is met through low carbon energy imported from the European grid. The remaining demand is topped up by locally-generated solar power and diesel generation at the Vale power station. At Guernsey Electricity, our mission is to deliver reliable, affordable electricity for the island’s sustainable future.
