About Guide Robotics Inc.
Guide Robotics Inc. was founded in Tokyo, Japan as an SRI International (www.sri.com) spin-out. Our mission is to develop tools for optimizing industrial operations in logistics, construction and security, using proprietary computer vision technology and autonomous robotics algorithms. Our first offering is a Visual SLAM based Indoor Positioning System for forklifts and autonomous robots using edge devices and a cloud based backend with APIs. This system can localize and visualize the trajectory of material handling assets in real time with cm level accuracy in GPS denied environments such as warehouses, helping logistics operators improve their productivity and safety for forklift operations.
