About Guiding Light Press

The world does not need more books; it needs more truth. Guiding Light Press is a London-based independent publisher and a dedicated sanctuary for literature of liberation. We exist to dismantle the "single story" and provide a decolonial home for voices that have been silenced, marginalized, or filtered through external lenses. Rooted in the mission of the Voice1Africa movement and the legacy of the Echo Our African Dreams anthology, we bridge the gap between the intellectual rigor of the Global South and the urgency of the diaspora. Our work is defined by three unwavering pillars: Decolonial Inquiry: We interrogate power structures and reclaim independent, ancestral thought. Spiritual Depth: We bridge the gap between the intellectual and the eternal, seeking stories that offer hope and a "guiding light." Intellectual Rigor: We are a sanctuary for the gritty, the researched, and the profoundly articulated. Under the visionary direction of Rev. Joseph D. N. Quarcoo, and supported by our Honorary Editorial Advisory Board, we curate narratives that refuse to stay quiet. We are not just a publisher; we are a movement for reclaimed truth. 📍 Headquarters: Fitzrovia, London, UK 📖 Discover the Mission: guidinglightpress.co.uk
