Guldviva was born in 1989 as a classic goldsmith's shop. Very soon, it became clear that Guldviva had the knowledge, drive, and ambition for much more than just repairing and selling others' products. Guldviva's head goldsmith, Maria Karlström, saw jewelry where no one else did. In the roadside, flying between blades of grass, at the edge of the dock, crawling over the rocks, swimming in the sea. That's where Guldviva found its form – with one foot in the sea and the other in the soil. We are who we are because of all that we have experienced. Guldviva's roots stretch back to a quieter time. The design language is inspired by childhood summers, by safety, the lapping of water, feet on a warm rock, a hand in grandfather’s hand. When we don't analyze but simply feel.
