About Gull Island Institute

At Gull Island, we believe that climate change is the great civic challenge of our time and requires reimagining the scope and aims of liberal arts education. In our programs, students assume responsibility for their community and ecosystem through a curriculum combining academic seminar, physical labor, and student self-governance. We invite you to learn more about our programs and approach at our website, www.gullisland.org.
