About guts. nonprofit

It takes guts… We believe that talking about mental health takes courage. It requires vulnerability, strength, and a willingness to face uncomfortable truths. We embrace the discomfort because we know these conversations are essential for growth and healing. We are a small, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making mental health support accessible, relatable, and community-powered. We strive to equip people with science-backed and engaging mental health tools that they can immediately put into practice. We believe mental health resources should be free, accessible, and presented in multiple formats for diverse learning styles. Through our skills-focused podcast (Spill Your Guts), downloadable infographics, community events, and workplace trainings, we offer a fresh perspective on mental health. We envision a future where mental health support is free and woven into the fabric of daily life. We also want to center the voices of people in communities who have historically been excluded from mental health care. Stigma, past trauma, and lack of resources can make it hard to ask for help or find support that really fits. We want to turn barriers into bridges: creating welcoming spaces, offering free and inclusive resources, and building real connections to reshape the mental health landscape for everyone.
