About Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County, MD

Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. As a small and growing local nonprofit, Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County, MD relies on the support of the local community to serve hard-working families of low income. While many are familiar with the volunteer opportunities on our job sites to swing a hammer or use a paint brush, there are many more ways to get involved behind the scenes. Dedicated volunteers help plan and execute our mission before construction even begins. These leaders on committees, our board, and in our office are the hands and feet of our mission. Here at Habitat, our work is focused on serving our Partner Families. Habitat homes are not free and are hard-earned. Qualification toward a zero-interest mortgage is completed by our proven committee structure. This profile will provide opportunities for you to give of your time, talent and financial resources towards this incredible work.
