About Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex

Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex is a non-profit, faith-based organization where we envision a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. We bring people together to build homes, communities and hope. Our mission is to engage volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting home ownership as a way to break the cycle of poverty. The HFHWE ReStore sells new and gently used building materials, appliances, and solid surface furniture that have been donated by strategic partners and individual donors in our community. Funds generated in our ReStore cover all of HFHWE's operating costs and a large portion of our construction costs - ensuring that every penny of every dollar donated goes to building projects right here in Windsor-Essex County.
