Hamlet creates thoughtfully designed land lease communities for people seeking a richer, simpler, and more connected way of living—whether working, semi-retired, or retired. The land lease model offers an affordable, flexible solution for downsizers: homeowners own their homes but lease the land, unlocking equity while enjoying low-maintenance, high-quality living with beautiful shared amenities. This model supports aging Australians, eases housing pressure for growing families, and promotes more sustainable, higher-density living. It also combats the isolation which can often be felt later in life. However, traditional land lease developments are often large and impersonal - 300+ homes - promising ‘community’ but rarely delivering. Our Hamlets are intentionally small - just 50 to 100 homes - designed to create tailored experiences and foster genuine connections. With an enduring management focus, Hamlet is committed to contributing to the wellbeing of our communities for the long term.
