About Handbags and Briefcases

Handbags & Briefcases is a voluntary, not-for-profit networking group supporting entrepreneurial women across Greater Manchester. We create a welcoming, pressure-free space where women in business can connect, learn and grow together. Our events include monthly networking lunches, Sounding Boards, Walk & Talks and workshops, as well as our annual conference, The Fix – Simple Strategies for a Stronger You. Alongside practical advice and skills development, we believe in community and collaboration – sharing knowledge, opening doors, and promoting each other’s services within our networks. New members are always warmly welcomed, and we invite guests to come along and try us out. For anyone nervous about attending their first event, our friendly buddy scheme ensures you’ll never walk in alone. Handbags & Briefcases is run entirely by volunteers – women in business, just like you – with a shared passion for supporting and championing one another.
