About Happy Dog Surf Shop

Happy Dogs Surf Shop was founded in 2024 by a group of Long Island college students who share one thing in common: an unwavering love for dogs. Many of us have adopted rescue pups ourselves, and we believe every dog deserves a safe, loving home. 100% of our proceeds go directly to local animal shelters and rescue organizations. As the number of shelter dogs continues to rise, more than 11% each year, so do the costs of food, medical care, utilities, and maintenance. Many shelters are struggling to keep up. That’s why we’re here! From adoption programs to educational outreach on spaying, neutering, and responsible pet care, our goal is to help build a more compassionate, informed community, one rescue at a time.
