About Happy Folks Club

Happy Folks Club is a student-run nonprofit that brings together the young and the young-at-heart! We organise creative workshops, interactive games, and fun activities that keep our senior citizens learning, laughing, and thriving throughout the year. Founded and managed by Siddharth Kothari, the organisation aims to bridge the gap between generations by fostering learning, laughter, and lifelong connection. Our services include the adorable Dosti Program, the enriching Swatantra Graduation Workshop, fun-filled HFC Summits, and our universal WhatsApp community; all designed to help senior citizens feel young at heart. Our signature program, Swatantra – A School for Senior Citizens, is fully led by students who design its classes and events to help seniors explore new skills and rediscover joy, because we truly believe “Age is just a number.” We’re more than just a club; we’re a growing movement connecting energetic youngsters with wise elders to build a happier, stronger, and more connected India.
