About Harbor Christian Academy

Harbor Christian Academy in Astoria, Oregon began welcoming Kindergarten through 3rd-grade students in September 2025! Classes are taught by certified teachers who are highly trained in best-practice methods, are equipped to immerse their students in a Biblical worldview, and are given the academic freedom to bring creativity and joy into the classroom. Our growing school on the beautiful north coast of Oregon will continue to add at least one grade level per year through 8th grade, providing a much-needed educational option for families in Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington. We desire to weave our Christian faith into every activity throughout the day. This means that compassion, integrity, humility, forgiveness, generosity, and moral excellence are standards of behavior for both our leadership and our students. Our certified teachers and small class sizes allow us to challenge students to achieve high academic standards in core subjects while also to exposing them to a broad range of subject areas including music, art, Spanish, and physical education. Exploring and creating through real-world activities is an important part of each day, and service projects are a reflection of who we are as a school community.
