Harborne Village BID is a not-for profit company run thanks to the direct financial investment from the local Harborne business community. Representing over 215 businesses in this Birmingham suburb, the company is run by a voluntary board of directors, made up of business owners and managers from the district. Harborne is a desirable suburb of Birmingham approximately 4 miles from Birmingham city centre. It is well served by public transport links and is in close proximity to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the University of Birmingham, the Birmingham City University Edgbaston campus. The high street is a good mix of both independent and national chains including M&S Food, Waitrose, Pizza Express, Waterstones, Oliver Bonas, Pho, Starbucks, Costa, Caffe Nero & Boston Tea Party, as well as having an impressive food scene, boasting Michelin recommended restaurants.
