About Hare Chase and Heckman, Inc.

About Hare, Chase & Heckman, Inc.: Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Commercial insurance and Life/Health. In 1867, shortly after the Civil War ended, R. Emmott Hare entered the insurance industry by opening his own Insurance Agency in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As this business grew a partnership was formed between Mr. Hare and Mr. Randall Chase and the firm of Hare & Chase was established. Due to causes lost to history, Mr. Chase eventually left the firm to form a new partnership with Rodman R. Heckman, Sr. and the firm of Chase & Heckman came into existence. Through the years both Hare & Chase and Chase & Heckman continued as independent organizations representing quality Insurance Companies while providing outstanding service to their respective customers. The firms were friendly competitors with the principals of each firm having a strong professional respect for each other. As time passed, the principals of Hare & Chase and Chase & Heckman realized that a higher level of customer service could be achieved if the two firms were to merge. Accordingly, in the year 2000 a merger took place and the firm of Hare, Chase & Heckman, Inc. was established with the business being located in Malvern, PA. At this time Hare, Chase & Heckman, Inc. maintains Agency as well as Brokerage agreements with many of the finest insurance companies that exist.
