About Harmonic Winds of Utah

The Harmonic Winds of Utah is a non-profit Wind Ensemble organized by community members who seek to share the joy of music with each other and the community through musical performances. The ensemble is based in Davis County Utah and is comprised of musicians from the surrounding area. The primary goals of the Harmonic Winds are to provide a fun and exhilarating environment for musicians and to provide quality, exciting performances to the public. The band is currently under the direction of Steve Hendricks. Music is all around us, and the musicians that make it are family members, friends, or neighbors. For many musicians, the opportunities to continue their musical expression, skill-building, and education end when they leave school. The Harmonic Winds of Utah is providing musicians a chance to continue playing within a community band after they leave school, regardless of who they are, how they identify themselves, what they believe, or what disabilities they might have.
