About Haskel Sears Design

Matt Sears' journey in building design and construction started over a decade ago with handcrafted furniture constructed around the nature and possibilities of wood. Walk into a Haskel Sears building today and you’ll often see one-of-a-kind furniture and fixtures merged into a cohesive design that embraces our deep connection to natural materials. Tables and counters, shelves and doors, wall and ceiling accents are all the craftsmanship of a man who has an innate appreciation for Earth’s elements. Warm tones and inviting textures give focus and character to a larger palette of functional space. Restaurant or residence, office or brewery, our unique approach to design and commitment to sustainable construction has earned us awards and accolades in the Southeast. Whether design subcontractor or general contractor, our signature style reflects a deep respect for the environment, an appreciation for the life of a building, and an understanding of the relationship between people and spaces.
