headstart is the first and largest crowdfunding group in Israel, established by Yossi Meiri, Ma'ayan Meltzer and Yonathan Gal. Since its establishment in 2011, the Group has raised over NIS 130 million for some 2,200 projects from around 500,000 backers. The headstart Group controls some 90% of the crowdfunding market in Israel through three platforms: headstart – the first and largest crowdfunding platform in Israel for fundraising for creative projects. giveback – a crowdfunding platform based on donations which provides a home for social-community campaigns. fundit –a crowdfunding platform in the field of equity and debt created in collaboration between headstart and Poalim IBI.
