About Headway North Staffordshire

Headway North Staffordshire is a registered charity that provides rehabilitation services to adults with an acquired brain injury. An ABI can come from many causes such as trauma, stroke, tumour, anoxia etc. At our centre in Cobridge we provide activities that support mental, physical and emotional wellbeing to get people to where they want to be. We have games, quizzes, a woodwork room, speech and language therapy, counselling, art and crafts, a fully equipped gym, chair based exercise. We also provide an outreach service to provide basis support and to help our clients get out an about in shopping, social and recreational trips so that they are not isolated and can feel part of the community.
