Health Equity and Empowerment Inc. is an organization that was developed to provide community and global health communication, pre-medical and pre-dental internship programs, as well as scholarship opportunities for Historical Black College/University students. Our organization goals Increasing access to opportunities and participation of minorities in STEM-related career fields. Decreasing Health Care disparities through health education and seminars. Providing BIPOC students with mentorship for finding Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental internships in order to increase the low percentage of minorities in medicine. Empowering underserved communities by providing sustainable health care services.
