The Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) is a statutory regulatory body established under the Health Professions Act No. 17 of 2024 which repealed and replaced Act No. 24 of 2009. Our core mandate includes: • Regulating health professionals, health facilities, healthcare services and internship sites; • Administering licensure examinations; • Approving curricula for health learning programmes; • Accrediting internship sites for health practitioners.
