Over the years, founder Howard Brooks continually expanded, building a company that now employs over 150 passionate people and serves 12 of North Carolina’s southeastern counties. By partnering with the patient and their family to determine a personalized health plan, HealthKeeperz helps them avoid long, costly, and disruptive hospital stays, receiving at-home care instead. From the comfort of their own homes, individuals and families can access a variety of professional care services, including Medicare Certified Home Health, Medicare Certified Hospice Care, Case Management Services, and home medical equipment and supplies. At HealthKeeperz, care doesn’t stop at physical health. Each caregiver strives to engage in a compassionate approach to health, building customized care plans that engage patients’ physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. The company’s home medical equipment department has accreditation from The Accreditation Commission for Health Care. Additionally, HealthKeeperz is a member of The NC Association of Home and Hospice Care, The NC Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers, and The Carolinas Center for Hospice and End of Life Care. They are licensed by The NC Division of Health Service Regulation and the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control and are certified by Medicare and Medicaid.
