About HEART - AI&VR Healthcare Resilience Training

The HEART project develops an innovative learning approach that combines mindfulness, resilience training, and immersive technologies for healthcare professionals and vocational learners. It aims to strengthen mental well-being and stress awareness through three interconnected learning modules: stress awareness, mindfulness in healthcare, and a virtual reality meditation scenario. The project is jointly implemented by Hafelekar (Austria) and Global Strategy Foundation (Germany) under the Erasmus+ KA210-VET framework. HEART integrates pedagogical methods with digital tools such as AI-supported avatars and VR environments to create accessible, experience-based learning. The results include a methodological framework, interactive training modules, short educational videos, and a VR prototype, all available on the project website (www.vr-healthcare.eu ). The project runs until April 2026 and promotes resilience, innovation, and mental health in vocational education and healthcare.
