About Heart of South Downtown

The Heart of South Downtown (HOSD) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to driving economic growth, social innovation, and community well-being in South Downtown Atlanta. As a connector between businesses, service providers, and residents, we work to ensure that revitalization efforts are community-driven, equitable, and rooted in opportunity. Our mission is to create pathways to prosperity by expanding economic mobility, strengthening workforce development, and ensuring that every resident and business has access to the resources, opportunities, and partnerships needed to thrive. As South Downtown undergoes rapid transformation, we are committed to ensuring that growth benefits all—creating a thriving, vibrant, and inclusive neighborhood where people want to live, work, and gather.
