About Heart to Heart Foundation

The Heart to Heart Foundation is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to transforming lives through cardiac care. Since our inception in 1993, we have been at the forefront of combating heart disease in Kenya, with a particular focus on children. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for Kenyan children by preventing, treating, and managing heart disease. We run four main programs. Our paediatric cardiac surgery involves providing life-saving open-heart surgeries for children born with congenital heart defects. The Rheumatic Heart Disease Prevention and Control Program is where we implement comprehensive programs to prevent and control rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease. Our teacher workshops are how we increase community awareness by educating the public about heart health, risk factors, and preventive measures.
