Heartland Therapeutic Riding has been in operation since 1978 making it the most established non-profit therapeutic riding center in the Kansas City area, and one of the longest enduring programs in the U.S. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of those with disabilities and diverse needs through Equine-Assisted Services. We are committed to changing lives, one ride at a time! HTR is recognized as a Premier Accredited Center by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl). Our instructors are PATH Intl certified ensuring the highest quality services and safety standards.
