About HeidiTown Consulting

I guide citizens towards realizing their town's excellence. Pride in place is the foundation on which economic development and tourism is built. I specialize in rural communities. Every community does not see itself as a tourism-town and we need to shift our way of working in these communities so that despite this mindset, we can still delve into conversations about visitors and the economic success that can come from visits. However, no success is possible without loving where you live. This message is prevalent in all the work I do whether it's writing tourism for a Comprehensive Plan or speaking.
