About Help the Amputee Foundation (HAFD)

Help the Amputee Foundation (HAFD) is a charity dedicated to supporting victims of insurgent attacks, especially those affected by Boko Haram in Northeast Nigeria. We provide vital medical care, including clinical treatment, hip and knee replacements, and the provision of prosthetic limbs to restore mobility. HAFD also offers rehabilitation and guidance to help amputees reintegrate into daily life and secure livelihoods. Our mission is to improve the lives of survivors by providing the resources they need to rebuild, regain independence, and lead fulfilling lives.
